You will serve as a Maintenance Worker (Trails) (Seasonal). The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Seasonal Staffing Office-Ozark National Scenic Riverways is March - September, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: March - July 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Maintenance, repair and construction of walls, bridge abutments, causeways, trail tread, and other similar structures. Carpentry work will involve heavy log and rough-sawn timbers and lumber. Construction on buildings, walkways, hitch rails, and other park structures. Using both power and hand tools, including chainsaws. This is an open continuous vacancy announcement.
The first cut-off date is 11:59 pm ET, January 1, 2027. Initial consideration will be given to candidates whose applications meet all qualification and/or eligibility requirements and are received by the first cut-off date.
