The primary purpose of this position is: Performs the duties of the wing facility manager for the day-to-day activities of a civil engineering flight. Serves as a senior representative for the civil engineer flight in lieu of the unit commander. Provides advice and guidance to group and/or wing and outside organizational leadership.
Plans, organizes, and manages the day-to-day activities of the civil engineer flight which requires constant organizational planning, coordination, training, evaluation, resolution of administrative actions, PRIME BEEF, Emergency Services, and mobility programs for critical essential mission requirements. Wing facility program manager responsible for supporting, coordinating, and tracking Wing facility projects.
Serves as the wing program manager for execution of Air Force facility projects to include military construction (MILCON) and facilities sustainment, restoration, and modernization (FSRM). CE Lead (Resource Manager) for managing finances and supplies within unit. Develops and manages operating budget/financial plan requirements. Analyzes and establishes priority lists for funding resources to Group Resource Advisory and Financial Management staff personnel.
As the Training Coordinator, coordinates and plans annual tours with Base Civil Engineers, or Air Force CE program manager, within Continental United States (CONUS) and overseas in conjunction with the AFRC program manager during pre-deployment and deployment site visits. Manages all aspects of training projects with base activities.
