Job Summary

This position is located in the Marine Materials Administration/Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Office of Administration, Management Support Division, Support Services Branch - Gulf of America Region (SSB-GOAR) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Major Duties

This is a Merit Promotion announcement for career and career conditional BSEE/BOEM employees, Career Transition eligible (CTAP), and those who are eligible under the hiring paths listed above. Refer to Required Documents section for more information. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Administers and coordinates regional administrative and operational support programs, including procurement, financial operations, property management, fleet operations, credentialing, environmental management, and related support services. Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), performing acquisition planning, contract administration, contractor performance monitoring, deliverable evaluation, invoice validation, and compliance oversight. Provides technical guidance and support for administrative programs, systems, policies, and procedures and develops process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyzes and evaluates administrative and operational programs and data to identify deficiencies, operational issues, and risks and recommends corrective actions and program improvements. Coordinates with regional staff, Headquarters, GSA, contractors, program offices, and other Federal organizations to resolve operational issues and ensure effective delivery and continuity of support services.

Education

Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
