Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Management Analyst (Leader), you will: Independently receive information from throughout and outside the OGC, and summarize, synthesize and compile the information (in diverse study reports, planning documents, and other documents related to the projects) to meet management needs.
Lead a team of lower graded analysts/specialists in accomplishing work to be performed; ensuring that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategic goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Coordinate and facilitate communication to top and middle management; Represent OGC on task forces and committees providing expert data analysis, planning expertise, organizational planning and report writing skills. Serve as an authoritative source of information on a broad range of management issues, develop and present recommendations which serve as a basis for decision making, and operational policy development at the highest level and area of special concern to OGC.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
