This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Wholesale, Audit Compliance & Data Management Branch. As a management and program analyst, you will analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of programs, report findings and make recommendations to management officials, implement new methods and procedures, and formulate long-range plans for the assigned organization.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Analyze, evaluate, and determine the impact of new or proposed legislation, regulations, and policies affecting programs. Independently evaluate and prepare responses to requests for program information, taking into consideration the sensitive and/or confidential nature of the information to be released. Develop and conduct briefings, presentations, and meetings on job-related subjects. Present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to management officials in both oral and written form. Independently, or as part of a team, manage a variety of programs to include monitoring existing plans, developing mechanisms to project future program requirements and needs, developing long-range goals for the major program elements and plans to accomplish long-range goals.
