In this Management and Program Analyst position, you will support the Office of Information and Technology by assisting with a range of developmental assignments and program activities requiring application of qualitative methods for assessment of management processes, systems, administrative, and mission support programs. This position starts at a salary of $70,623.00 (GS-9, Step 1) to $111,087.00 (GS-11, Step 10) with promotion potential to $111,087 (GS-11 Step 10). In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals. Typical work assignments include: Implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of management programs impacting organizational activities. Planning and conducting research or participating in special studies, including task forces and providing assistance to various offices. Providing analytical support and advice to field management staff on operational systems and management programs. Developing, implementing, and monitoring operational systems for long and short-range plans, processes, procedures, and projects. Planning, developing, and coordinating management briefings, presentations, and conferences, ensuring accurate and concise information is available.
