This position is part of the Office of Data Strategy and Performance Analysis, Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as a senior advisor and technical lead for the Operating Experience Program and other EHSS data systems that are critical to maintaining operational awareness, identifying systemic risks, and enabling data-informed prevention strategies across the DOE complex.

Veterans shape the future of energy As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Oversee Operating Experience and safety database program responsibilities, this role is expected to design forward looking data strategies and ensure that EH fully leverages new technologies to enhance efficiency, and mission advancement. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to support and modernize the Department's performance improvement programs, ensuring system integrity, strategic visibility, and data-informed prevention strategies across the DOE complex. Provide authoritative, expert-level guidance on organizational learning, event investigation, and causal analysis techniques applicable to work in complex, high-risk facility operations with a goal of principles to driving safe performance and mission reliability. Analyze database contents, review oversight reports, and evaluate accident investigations within the DOE complex to support the development of preventive operating experience documents. Provide assistance to field organizations and data system users in data collection, trending, and specialized analysis products. Lead community forums and deliver specialized training programs at various DOE sites, managing relationships with diverse internal and external technical experts, subject matter experts (SMEs), and management officials.
