This position is part of the Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity Energy Security and Emergency Response. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Corporate Business Office performing budget planning and execution, procurement, acquisition and facilitate a variety of projects and initiatives. You will track training, telework requests, travel and review executive correspondence.

Veterans shape the future of energy As a Management and Program Analyst at the full performance level GS-13, you will: Serve as an advisor to analyze the efficiency of program operations and ensure key areas are aligned with mission requirements. Provide support in the areas of budget planning and execution, funds tracking and allocation for assigned programs. Update databases and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy, support team tracking, and facilitate overall project management functions across the Division. Act as the main point of contact for executive correspondence, training and travel requests and Telework/Remote Work agreements. Coordinate procurement and acquisition activities to include working with contracting representatives to monitor costs, contract deliverables and contractor performance. Interpret policies, guidelines and laws to ensure staff and management are in compliance with local office procedures.
