This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Financial Management Division (FC), Office of Resource Management (FR), Resource Operations Section (FRO), Diversion Validation Unit (FROD). This position(s) primary purpose is to evaluate DEA's Diversion Control Fee Account (DCFA) resources in Headquarters, domestic field offices, and foreign offices.
As a your typical work assignments may include: Participates in decision-making sessions with senior-level management, and advises program managers on regulatory requirements, financial policies, interpretation of data, and the importance of financial data to program operations and improvements. Plans, develops, and coordinates briefings, presentations, and conferences for executive level management; and ensures accurate, concise, and timely information is available to management and policy-level personnel. Utilizes various analytical techniques, including programmatic research, financial, case management, NFC, and other necessary data sources to identify and provide sound analysis and recommendations to defend and support methodology decisions. Evaluates current activities, recommends appropriate actions, and provides continuous review, updates, and analysis of policies, and standard operating procedures related to the program.
