Joining Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Information and Technology (OIT) will allow you to serve as an expert analyst or advisor to management on the CBP Records and Information Management program requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of management processes, systems and mission support programs. This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

In this Management and Program Analyst (Records Management) position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals.
Typical work assignments include: Providing subject matter expertise and oversight for the CBP Records and Information Management program, including implementation and coordination of records management policies, directives, processes, and systems. Planning and conducting special studies, task forces, and analytical reviews, personally or through team members, and providing expert advice and recommendations to leadership.
Conducting and directing records management activities for the full life cycle of records, including paper and electronic records inventories, creation of file plans, and guidance to component offices on records requirements. Evaluating new or modified legislation, policies, and regulations to determine projected impacts on the CBP Records and Information Management program.
Developing and evaluating guidelines, methods, strategic plans, and systems plans, and preparing briefings, presentations, reports, and recommendations for supervisors, senior leaders, and executive management.
