The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a program analyst and workforce liaison, providing analytical, advisory, and administrative support for workforce initiatives, program operations, employee development activities, hiring-related processes, and organizational management efforts.
This Management & Program Analyst position is located in Direct Reports/Chief of Staff/Administrative Services Division, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Provides workforce liaison services to employees and senior management by developing, interpreting and advising leadership on a broad range of human capital policies and administrative processes. Serves as an advisor to managers and senior leaders on productivity and efficiency of human resources, employee development, and workforce planning. Ensures adherence to program policies, regulations, goals, and objectives, and evaluates organizational methods and procedures for delivering human resources-related services to promote compliance, consistency, and effectiveness. Monitors compliance, identifies areas for improvement, and provides recommendations to strengthen consistency, accountability, and operational effectiveness. Initiates, tracks, and facilitates programs related to organizational structure, hiring practices, and Executive and Senior Executive hiring; developing and implementing internal policies and procedures that support division objectives and improve service delivery to internal and external customers. Facilitates and disseminates responses regarding TSA policies, practices, and procedures.
