You will serve as a MARINE TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the Military Sealift Command Representative Pearl Harbor (MSCREP PEARL HARBOR) a subordinate command under the operational and administrative control of Commander, Military Sealift Command Pacific (MSCPAC) located in San Diego, CA. This position is in Pearl City, Hawaii in MSCREP PEARL HARBOR.
Key Responsibilities
You will coordinate port services for assigned MSC controlled vessels operating within MSCPAC Port Services area of operations (AO).
Requirements & Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-11 Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related Education Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study - accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position.
For Marine Transportation Specialist positions, education obtained in a Federal, State, or other accredited Merchant Marine Academy is qualifying. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education. See Required Documents for additional information.
