Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to perform masonry, plastering, cement finishing work in constructing, installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying structures and items requiring close tolerance fit, structural soundness, fine finishes and decorative effects.
Key Responsibilities
- Under higher graded workers, plans and lays out work from basic blueprints, rough sketches, construction drawings, surveys and work orders - Performs masonry worker tasks involved in the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of interior and exterior surfaces and structures - Performs work in the application and finishing of plaster surface in the construction and repair of interior walls and ceiling and stucco exterior walls - Repairs and constructs cement and concrete surfaces and structures - Follows safety practices and procedures that have been established, including safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment -Use and maintains the basic tools and equipment
