Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to perform work involved in the identification, examination, classification, acceptance, and disposition of complex categories of materials and equipment. The position requires the use of motor vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
-Receives, examines, verifies, and identifies complex categories of materials and equipment. -Maintains an aggressive surveillance inspection program on stored/on-hand items. -Receives, examines, and determines condition of a wide variety of complex items and materials to be turned in/removed. -Monitors special programs, computerized listings, and documentation/records.
-Operates a variety of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles such as platform trucks, van trucks, stake trucks, or dump trucks, which typically have a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 10,000 and up to 26,000 pounds. -Uses and maintains tools. -Utilizes safety and security practices and procedures following established rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.
