Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence, in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville.

The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as a Senior Mechanical Engineer on an interrelated team of engineers and architects engaged in construction and facilities repair project development.
