Job Summary

About the Position: This position is with Defense Health Agency (DHA). It is located in the Department of Anatomical Pathology Service at Ireland Army Health Clinic (IRAHC) at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The primary purpose of the position is to perform clinical laboratory tests on specimens, collect patient samples and identify unusual results or interference that cause erroneous results. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Key Responsibilities

Receive patient's specimens of blood, urine, stool, microbiological and viral cultures, tissue, body fluids and cytological specimens.

Requirements & Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
