This position starts at a salary of $87,061.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $113,185.00 (GS-11, Step 10). The Mission Support Specialist (Workforce Management), provides a wide range of administrative programs, concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods to address technical issues or problems that contain several interrelated issues in workforce management. Duties and responsibilities include: Assisting in implementation of policies related to the sector workforce, position management procedures, and other matters affecting employees. Serving as a liaison between the Sector and Border Patrol Headquarters; maintaining various reports and updates for the table of organization. Coordinating with supervisors and staff to ensure completion of personnel actions in a timely manner. Serving as a liaison with other agency and employees offices for cases that have workforce implications; researching, collecting, and analyzing data to assist with agency responses to employee cases. Performing a range of general mission support related duties; serving as a point of contact between Sector and Headquarters on emerging trends affecting the Agency business processes.
