Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full-time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. On a regular and recurring basis, utilizes trades and/or labor knowledge and skill to lead a team of three or more workers in performance of various related work. - Performs work. Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. - Operates boom cranes and/or provides crane rigging support.

Work is typically done near obstructions which restrict the load movement and the movement of the boom. - Operates a variety of vehicles including Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Operates vehicles to transport supplies, materials, equipment, and/or tools. - Schedules and dispatches passenger, cargo, and U-drive vehicles. Receives customer requests verbally and in writing, checks validity of requests, and dispatches vehicle/driver to accomplish the mission.
