The primary purpose of this position is to operate one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically having a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 32,000 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
-Drives and performs Vehicle Certifications on tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds. -Drives and performs Vehicle Certifications on various types of passenger buses which carry 16 or more passengers. -Maintains records and documents actions, such as operator inspection checklists/forms and accident/incident reports.
-Operates one or more electric, LPG, or diesel powered fork lift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties. -Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles, and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation.
This position is with Air Combat Command, Department of the Air Force.
