Job Summary

This position is a Motor Vehicle Operator Supervisor with duty station located at the Sisseton Service Unit, Sisseton, South Dakota. This position reports to the Administrative Officer or Designee. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Key Responsibilities

Staff Supervision - Supervises housekeeping staff and Motor Vehicle Operators, including scheduling, assigning work, training, performance evaluations, and personnel actions. Housekeeping Operations - Oversees cleaning and sanitation services, conducts inspections, and ensures compliance with safety and infection-control standards.

Transportation Operations - Supervises vehicle operators, schedules and dispatches vehicles, and ensures GSA vehicles are maintained, inspected, and properly documented. Supplies & Equipment - Manages housekeeping supplies, equipment, laundry, and waste-handling activities and ensures proper inventory and safe use.

Program Administration & Safety - Plans staffing, budget, equipment, and supply needs; maintains required records and training; and identifies and reports safety hazards. Physical Demands: The work involves walking, sitting, standing, reaching and bending in the assessment and treatment of patients. Financial Suitability Requirement: This position requires a review of the applicant's financial history as part of the personnel security and suitability determination.
