Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising the delivery of care to employees. Supports worker-centered occupational safety and health procedures while promoting worker health, monitoring and tracking employee health status and well-being, and assessing workplace safety from hazards and contaminants.
Duties The Employee Occupational Health (EOH) Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches to the management of complex employee care. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical Practice & Care Coordination Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Occupational Health & Workplace Safety Supports worker-centered occupational safety and health procedures. Monitors and tracks the health status and well-being of employees. Assesses workplace safety from hazards and contaminants in the workplace.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Leadership Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and leading innovative process improvement initiatives. Demonstrates sound decision-making, judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills. Contributes to the development of care delivery models and environmental design, ensuring evidence-based, accessible, affordable, and equitable patient care.
Demonstrates performance and leadership broad enough to improve care for employees. Quality Improvement & Outcomes Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, directives, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Responsible for documented outcomes at the program or service level; outcomes must be broad and complex and can be demonstrated at any organizational level within a facility.
