The primary purpose of this position is to: To serve as an Operations and Readiness Specialist and a first level supervisor, responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to unit Readiness, Training, and Mortuary Affairs.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Readiness and Plans, unit training and mortuary affairs within the Force Support Squadron (FSS), ensuring that activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Plans, develops, reviews, directs and implements Force Support annexes to Base Operation Plans/Support Agreements.
Provide management oversight for operations programs to ensure services and functions are in line with organizational goals and mission requirements. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Acts as alternate Mortuary Technician.
