The primary purpose of this position, Ordnance Equipment Mechanic Leader, WL-6641-11, is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially fulltime and continuing basis.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize trades and/or labor knowledge and skill to lead a team of three or more workers in performance of various related work. Perform nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. Perform launch and support equipment refurbishment. Perform troubleshooting procedures from complete systems/subsystems to malfunctioning component levels.
Perform depot level modifications and Technical Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) requirements on missile systems and related support equipment, such as hydraulic control unit transporter erector tractors/trailers, suspension systems, actuators, pipe pushers, and other related missile launch hardware.
This position is with Air Force Materiel Command, Department of the Air Force.
