This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. In addition, ARTs are required to maintain their active membership in the AF Reserve unit where assigned. ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month.

Hourly Salary Range: $46.12- $53.81 SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART), section supervisor, exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing munitions work. DUTIES: Based on established work schedules, determines work sequence and makes work assignments accordingly. Performs work direction responsibilities.
Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes. Complies with all Federal, State, DOD, USAF, and local regulations concerning hazardous materials/waste munitions assets. Performs administrative responsibilities. Advises employees of performance expectations. Provides proper guidance and direction, continuous feedback on strengths and weaknesses.

Administers the reserve training and associated programs for Sortie Support Flight ensuring consistent standards throughout the flight for traditional reservists and ARTs.
