Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Miami Field Office, Fines Penalties and Forfeitures Staff, located in Miami, FL. This position starts at a salary of $79,533.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $103,399.00 (GS-11, Step 10) with promotion potential to $123,927.00 (GS-12 Step 10). Please visit this link to view special pay rate charts. Major Duties include: Reviewing and processing cases within the FPF Officer's authority through to final solution. Participating in hearings as a subject matter expert, analyzing issues and applying agency rules. Preparing final decision letters stating findings of fact and conclusions of law. Providing technical direction to lower-grade employees on FPF-related issues.
