Key Responsibilities

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for criminal and civil prosecutions associated with Financial Litigation. Typical work assignments will include: -Prepare legal, statistical, and economic studies and analysis required in criminal and civil financial litigation cases. -Compile substantive information on financial litigation subjects.

-Examine and evaluate cases referred to the Financial Litigation Unit for the purpose of initiating judicial enforcement proceedings. -Prepare a variety of legal documents. -Interview witnesses and prepare material relating to individual witnesses, claimants, and defendants, preparatory to trial. -Mentor and train other members of the Financial Litigation Unit. -Assist in fulfilling discovery obligations.

Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements & Education

All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see www.ed.gov.

OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States. It is your responsibility to timely provide such evidence by submitting proof of creditability of education as evaluated by a credentialing agency with your application materials.
