About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located within the Department of Pharmacy at Army Health Clinic Ireland, in Fort Knox, KY. The Primary purpose of the position is to serve as a staff pharmacist. Knowledge of pharmaceuticals must be sufficient to determine the appropriateness of a given medication for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment incentives MAY be authorized.
Key Responsibilities
Provide authoritative instructions on pharmaceuticals, advice and assistance to prescribing and dispensing officials on effectiveness, suitability, hazards, and other aspects of their use.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
