Job Summary

This Open Continuous Announcement (OCA) is open ONLY to Current Permanent Employees of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. This announcement is open to enable Physician Assistants within the South Texas Veterans Health Care System to communicate their desire for reassignment to a different physician assistant position. Applications expire every 90 days in order to keep the applicant pool current, and applicants should update their application every 90 days.

Major Duties

Duties and responsibilities: The Physician Assistant provides quality patient care in collaboration with other health care professionals. Specific duties vary based on the position. Locations: Positions may be available at various locations: VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Work Schedule: Varies as needed based on the position and availability Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position. Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not Authorized Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized This is an open continuous announcement and will remain open until the closing date or until the position is filled. Eligible applications received will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until the position is filled. Applicants will remain active for 3 months after their initial application is received and/or updated. After that time, you must update your application through your USA Jobs account if you would like to be made active again for possible consideration during the open period.
