Job Summary
About the Position: This position is located at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Primary Care Optimization (PCO) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age.
Requirements & Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
