Job Summary

This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Police Services Branch - Fort Worth, Texas facility. As a Police Officer, you will enforce Federal, State and local laws relating to the protection of human life, including the preservation of the civil rights of individuals, and protect the United States Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing buildings, grounds, and enormous monetary values in custody, or in the process of production.

Key Responsibilities

As a Police Officer, you will: Serve as a United States Police Officer having authority derived from the Director of The Bureau of Engraving and Printing via the Secretary of the Treasury through Title 18, United States Code, Section 13 (18 U.S.C.

§ 13) The Assimilative Crimes Act (ACA), Title 31, United States Code, Section 321 Money and Finance: Treasury and Title 40, United States Code, Section 1315 (b) (2) (A)-(C), Protection of Environment Code of Federal Regulations in policing Bureau of Engraving and Printing buildings and grounds to enforce all Federal, State and local laws enacted for the protection of persons and property and to prevent breaches of the peace, to suppress affrays or unlawful assemblies and to enforce any rules and regulations made and promulgated by the Secretary of the Treasury or the Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Enforce of all Federal, State, local laws as well as Treasury and Bureau of Engraving and Printing rules and regulations for the protection of persons, property, and facilities. Prevent, detect, and investigate violations of laws, rules, and regulations involving accidents, crimes, and misconduct. Arrest violators, assist in the prosecution of criminals, and serve as a source of assistance to employees and the public in emergencies.

Work with other law enforcement agencies to gather or provide evidence on assigned investigations.
