You will serve as a Police Officer in the Force Protection Division of Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) installations. This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.
You will control access of pedestrians or vehicular traffic to restricted areas.
In lieu of specialized or general experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-04: Two years of successfully completed study at an accredited school above the high school level with at least 12 semester hours in police administration, police law and evidence, police investigation, criminology, law enforcement, general law, or similar subjects closely related to police work. GS-05: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
