Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Police Officer (Desk Sergeant), providing technical guidance and/or direction to personnel. Primary duties will include screening calls and relaying messages to patrol officers, fire department, and/or emergency medical services team.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation of the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) utilizing a Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD) and other equipment.
