This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans (PLCY), Trade and Economic Security (TES). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Policy Analyst, providing subject-matter expertise, using analytical and policy-making skills to lead and formulate trade and economic security policy for the Department. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Key Responsibilities
As a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-14, your typical work assignments may include: Creating and analyzing products deemed critical to ascertaining detrimental consequences to U.S. in trade policy and stay current of national policies concerning supply chains and economic security issues.
Leading efforts with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and promulgate new policies, program objectives, and recommendations for leadership on areas of trade, economic security and supply chain policy. Communicating research findings and strategic guidance to a variety of technical and non- technical audiences.
