Job Summary

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Mail and Media Services (NWPP) organization of Services (NWP), Workplace Services (NW), Chief Administrative Office (N). A successful candidate in the Printing Services Specialist position will serve as a source of advice and assistance for publishing and printing projects and services presented by customer organizations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Printing Services Specialist, you will: Print Production Management: Evaluate print requests and determine the most efficient, cost-effective methods for production, deciding whether to produce materials in-house or through commercial sources via the Government Publishing Office (GPO). Client Consultation: Meet with clients to validate requirements, educate them on lower-cost or sustainable options, and negotiate timelines and specifications.

Equipment and Inventory Oversight: Operates production all equipment and software related to printing, Assist with testing and maintaining printing equipment, monitor inventory thresholds, and audit work-in-progress to ensure compliance with standards. Contract Administration (COTR): Serve as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative for outsourced print jobs, overseeing contractor performance, evaluating proposals, and resolving vendor issues.

Quality and Compliance Assurance: Track technical progress, review reports for sufficiency, ensure adherence to GPO and legal standards, and handle billing and P-card payments. Process Improvement: Analyze printing and mailing system effectiveness, collaborate with internal teams to recommend cost-saving workflow enhancements, and resolve complex publishing issues.

Print Equipment Usage: Utilizing high speed and cut sheet prints (such as Canon V1000s, Canon Arizona, or the HP 8000 series.)

Requirements & Education
