As a Process Analyst, you will serve as an IT technical advisor to identify the opportunity for - and design - new or improved business processes. Location of position: Washington, DC, Raleigh, NC, Fort Worth, TX, Kansas City, MO, Lakewood, CO, Tacoma, WA, Atlanta, GA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, San Francisco, CA, Philadelphia, PA, or Chicago, IL We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Conduct technical analyses of IT-related operational processes and existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, compliance gaps, and inconsistencies. Performs needs analyses to define opportunities for optimization of process accuracy, accountability, and alignment with business requirements and fiscal policies.
Analyze procurement and asset management processes such as acquisition, inventory management, logistics, and disposal to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, ensure proper accountability, and comply with federal asset management guidelines. Document processes using flowcharts, narratives, datasets, and other appropriate tools.
Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations on analysis findings and provide recommendations for project improvements using qualitative and/or quantitative data. Define metrics to monitor and evaluate service success throughout process implementation and determine the size, skills, and roles necessary for a project team to deliver a product.
Ensure processes are compliant with requirements such as federal acquisition regulations, financial reporting standards, and contract regulations. Provide technical advice, leadership, and direction on process analysis, system analysis, customer experience, and design-related issues, and determines work objectives to set priorities; anticipates potential threats and opportunities.
Provides guidance in how to use research findings to influence project, product, platform, or service development.
