This vacancy is for a Procurement Analyst in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce, specifically within the Office of the Acquisition Management.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Develop acquisition-related policies and procedures. Implement, review, analyze, and provide general oversight of acquisition policies and programs. Work directly with top management of the bureau(s) or Department to carry out broad, complex administrative assignments involving the substance of key bureau or department-wide programs. Has the ability to represent immediate organizations and the Department.
Exercise principal responsibility for office or division level administrative management, formulate and implement organizational goals and objectives, plan and evaluate programs, design organizational structure, promote economy of operations; or carry out broad, unprecedented projects involving the substance of key bureau or department-wide programs.
