Key Responsibilities

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major Duties and Responsibilities: This employee reports directly to the Chief Engineer and often works concurrently with the Facility Planner, Chief Fiscal Officer, Chief Logistics Officer, and Executive Leadership Team at the station level.

Relates to agreements, the incumbent coordinates with current and prospective tenants, drafts legal documents, enforces provisions in the agreement, and executes financial collections from tenants.

Relates to real property actions, the incumbent is the primary point of contract and field technical expert related to disposal and/or conveyance of real estate in relation to the VA "Reduce the Footprint" criteria for which VA Montana is conducting the vast majority of the disposal actions for all of VISN 19.

Serves as primary point of contract and technical field expert for land use agreements, parcel transactions, easements, and irrevocable licenses related to VA Montana owned assets.
