Job Summary

This PROGRAM ANALYST position, is located in a State Headquarters, Chaplain's Office and is part of the CA JFHQ Chaplain Office.

Key Responsibilities

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9, is to serve as the program manager over the Strong Bonds program, responsible for developing, implementing and administering the Strong Bonds program to the state of CA, and serves as an assistant to the full-time state Chaplain. Serves as key coordination point for all Strong Bonds program requirements.

May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

Requirements & Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work required OR a combination of education and experience.

(Only graduate education in excess of the amount required above may be used.) When there is a positive education or certification requirement, or you are using education to qualify as a substitution for experience, copies of transcripts (unofficial) and/or certificates are required at the time of application to verify that you meet the educational/certification requirement or substitution.

Only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education may be credited.
