At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Coordinates with managers, maintenance supervisors, and craft team leaders. Identify information required to properly evaluate use of resources. Develops and implements sound maintenance management business practices. Conducts studies to improve the efficiency of maintenance practices, including inspection.
Establishes and implements methods and procedures for measuring the overall effectiveness of the maintenance program. Provides updates of scheduled maintenance work, manpower requirements by crafts. Provides information relating unit cost trends, initial work order estimates to the actual. Provide information about work backlogs. Collects and evaluates all proposed priority assignments made to new work orders. Periodically reviews work order priorities.
Provides a full range of technical user support and training. Analyzes existing reports from computer systems.

Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
