The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a command headquarters level program analyst, applying Air Force experience and expertise in planning, developing, implementing, and directing the Agile Combat Support Core Function Leads and Air Force Reserve Command's Logistics, Weapon System Sustainment, and Flying Hour Cost Future Years Defense Plan.
Plans, organizes, and helps direct the activities of the Logistic Support Branch (Mission Generation Panel), ensuring that processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements, established defense department and service guidance and meets customer needs. Serves as a Command Policy Analyst for all logistics and maintenance programmatic issues. Represents AFRC to HQ USAF and other Air Force Major Commands.
Leads the development, interpretation, and implementation of policies and procedures to provide planning, programming, and budget guidance to facilitate the identification and determination of alternative ways to achieve the best mix of forces, equipment, and support attainable, within fiscal constraints, for AFRC's mission.
Develops, implements, and administers automated decision support/knowledge management applications/solutions using appropriate desktop, server, and web-based software technologies. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
