The eTAS Program Office within Human Capital (HC) is responsible for TSA's authorized time, attendance, and scheduling system for over 400 federalized airports nationwide. In addition to managing scheduling and payroll activities for approximately 48,000 officers, the eTAS Program Office is also responsible for identifying requirements, system administration, enhancements and upgrades, user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and ongoing training and communications.
This Program Analyst position is located in Human Capital/HC Operations Office, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Identifying opportunities for process improvement; formulating recommendations; and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the payroll and scheduling systems and processes. Conducting analyses of airport payroll processes and recommending business process improvements; conducting quality assurance audits on timecards in the electronic time, attendance, and scheduling (eTAS) system and providing corrections. Analyzing and resolving complex payroll processing issues related to the CBA and TSA Policies; providing technical interpretations and guidance for the eTAS system including system improvements and required configuration changes; performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Providing assistance with coordinating and implementing the development of detailed training materials for the eTAS system and scheduling/payroll processing; providing classroom and virtual training, instruction and technical assistance for the eTAS system and scheduling/payroll processing.
