Job Summary

The Program Analyst is a primary member of the Managerial Cost Accounting & Decision Management Department (MCA & DM). The incumbent will be responsible for processing, auditing and analyzing data for medical centers within the Southeast Network.

Major Duties

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs audits of Decision Support System (DSS) structures. Reviews information, identifies inconsistencies, and corrects errors before submission or distribution to prevent data issues across VISN operations. Ability to analyze complex data structures, workload trends, and program requirements to identify inaccuracies, gaps, or operational issues. Works collaboratively with program officials and service line managers to resolve problems, implement standardization processes, and ensure proper maintenance of Decision Support System (DSS) structures. Develops and maintain access databases for reports. Responsible for monthly workload and financial processing for all medical centers in VISN 7 for all Decision Support System (DSS). Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm. Work schedule is subject to change based on agency need. Telework: This position is not authorized for telework.
