Job Summary

This Program Evaluator, GS-0101-14 position is located in the Office of Award Management (OAM), Performance, Evaluation, and Systems Branch. OAM ensures accountable and efficient stewardship of NSF financial assistance across the full award lifecycle. OAM partners with programs, institutions, and stakeholders to promote the effective use of taxpayer resources and advance impactful science and engineering research.

Key Responsibilities

As a Program Evaluator, GS-0101-14 NF, you will perform the following duties: Evidence Strategy. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to collect, analyze, validate, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform evidence-based program and policy decisions, ensuring alignment with agency and federal priorities. Program Evaluation.

Lead program evaluation studies using advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to assess initiative effectiveness, interpret data, identify trends, and measure progress toward agency goals, including those in NSF's Strategic Plan. Project Leadership. Lead multidisciplinary teams to plan, execute, and deliver complex federal programs, ensuring strategic alignment and policy compliance.

Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables, proactively managing risks and competing priorities to achieve successful outcomes. Stakeholder Communication. Develop and execute communication strategies to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration across all government levels. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers. Capacity Building.

Design and deliver training, technical assistance, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen staff and stakeholder capabilities. Assess needs and provide targeted resources to build resilience, enhance preparedness, and support long-term recovery. Other duties as assigned.
