In this position, you will serve as a Program Manager within the Mission Readiness Operations Division of a U.S. Border Patrol Sector, providing direction, advice, consultation, and oversight for assigned sector programs.
Your work directly supports the agency mission by analyzing and evaluating Occupational Safety and Health, Facilities, and Physical Security Programs, developing long-range plans and improvements, and resolving issues that affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating sector-level mission readiness programs that support safety, facilities, physical security, and internal control requirements.
Typical duties will include: Coordinating Occupational Safety and Health Program activities, including required training, safety inspections, hazard analyses, safety supplies, personal protective equipment, and corrective actions. Managing facility-related requirements, maintenance, inspections, assessments, alterations, renovations, minor construction, and new construction needs across sector facilities.
Collaborating with CBP program offices, GSA, local property lessors, and other stakeholders to ensure facility services, environmental compliance, and project requirements are addressed. Implementing physical security program requirements, facility security plans, liaison roles, contractor clearance requests, and security enhancement projects.
Maintaining internal controls for Mission Readiness Operations Division policies, directives, and guidance to support accountability and prevent fraud, waste, and misuse of resources.
