This position is in Region 4, Mission Support Division, Immediate Office. About this organization: Region 4 This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.
You will: Plan, direct, and oversee MSD (Mission Support Division) resource management programs to integrate regional operations, align with national objectives and statutes, and advance mission outcomes on the Director's behalf. Organize and optimize program structures and resources, evaluating effectiveness and aligning divisional plans to improve performance and achieve program goals within policy and legislative parameters.
Coordinate regional programs with internal and external partners representing MSD on committees and at conferences to resolve complex issues, build consensus, and maintain effective working relationships. Establish and monitor program controls and performance, reviewing reports and audits, analyzing trends, and recommending changes to ensure compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement, including forecasting impacts and initiating responsive plans.
Direct day-to-day operations and manage staff expediting workflow, overseeing correspondence and budgets, and administering personnel programs to deliver coordinated, efficient regional services and support the Director's priorities. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
