This vacancy is for a Program Manager in the Economic Development Administration within the Department of Commerce.
As a Program Manager, you will serve as the principal advisor to the Area Director on the management and direction of major EDA regional programmatic and program support activities and issues. In this capacity, the incumbent, in consultation with the Area Director, provides oversight and major problem resolution for economic development program activities and issues.
Recommendations provided by the incumbent are considered and evaluated by the Director for overall compatibility with organizational goals and objectives. In this regard, the incumbent provides critical and invaluable management counsel to the Area Director.
