This vacancy is for a GS-0340-15, Program Manager located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, OFFICE OF CONTRACT OPERATIONS -CG-912 in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.
You will serve as a Program Manager and be responsible for providing strategic and tactical support and guidance on programmatic, budgetary, and resource issues affecting the HCA Office and the contracting and procurement (C&P) workforce.. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Advises the HCA on all resource management issues. Manages the development and defense of the HCA budget. Publishes policy, guidance, and provides oversight for all business management, financial management, and performance management functions related to the HCA. Provides external engagement in financial management area with Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Management and Budget, Government Accountability Office, DHS Inspector General, and Congressional staffs.
