The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as one of the Key staff officers for the 437th Airlift Wing (437 AW) and 437th Operations Group (437 OG) on matters pertaining to Combat Tactics and Aircraft Weapons Systems.
Position is responsible for applying the doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures developed at HQ Air Mobility Command (AMC) and elsewhere to subordinate units within 437 AW and 315th Airlift Wing (315 AW), primarily, but not exclusively, to the flying squadrons.
Duties Oversees and maintains the Eastern US regional portion of the DoD Drop Zone and Landing Zone (DZ/LZ) Zone Availability Report (ZAR) database Expert for all Joint Airborne/Air Transportability Training (JA/ATT) "purchases," coordination and mission scheduling for the 437th and 315th Airlift Wings Serves as the 437th Airlift Wing's primary Electronic Control Officer (ECO), Cyber Warfare SME and Mobility Datalink Manager Directs the review, edit, input verification and production of computer airlift schedules and mission changes.
