This position is located in New York, NY. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience managing technical service contracts and task orders, coordinating contractual resources and technical engineers with Site Inspector Task Force Leader partners, and communicating across regional teams, branches, and divisions. The role uses data analysis to guide multi-year planning and support program implementation.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will work as a Project Manager in the Risk Management Branch. Typical assignments include: Serving as project lead and coordination point for Federal Emergency Management Agency Risk Analysis Branch risk assessment activities. Advising Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 2 and federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, nongovernmental, academic, and private-sector partners on risk assessment programs.
Coordinating planning, programming, budgeting, and execution for Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning and related mitigation program activities. Providing technical, analytical, contract management, and communications support for risk assessment, Hazards United States, Open Hazards United States, geospatial data, loss modeling, methodology development, stakeholder engagement, and regional implementation.
