The position will act as a liaison between the Chief of Medical Service, Medical Service management staff, Group Practice Manager (GPM) and Business Office Management as it relates to clinical access and clinic utilization. This position will monitor trends in scheduling and will assist with clinic access, capacity, preparation of reports and correspondence for deep dives into Strategic Analytics for Improvement and Learning (SAIL) data and access data.
Duties include, but not limited to: Responsible for the independent performance and management of administrative and programmatic requirements of the Medical Service to include but not limited to: Cardiology (including Cardiac Cath and Non-Invasive Cardiac Labs); Dermatology; Endocrinology; Gastroenterology (including Hepatology); General Internal Medicine (including Palliative Care); Hematology/Oncology; Infectious Diseases; Nephrology; Neurology; Pulmonary (including Sleep Lab, CPAP, Home Oxygen and Respiratory Therapy); and Rheumatology Provides consistent information, both written and telephonic, according to established policies and procedures.
Handles conflict and problems in dealing with the customer constructively and appropriately. Pull data to track pending consults and create reports to show unsigned notes, encounters, physician productivity; pending appointments. Create charts, graphs and powerpoints to present data.
